The agreement, part of SRAM’s partnership with Trek, marks Time’s return to the men’s WorldTour and the extension of its pedals to three women’s World Tour teams. Trek-Segafredo thus joins Canyon//SRAM Racing and Team SD Worx. Historically, TIME pedals have been winners in professional cycling from the 1980s to the 2000s, with riders such as Greg LeMond, Miguel Indurain, and Tom Boonen.
“TIME is proud to support this World Tour team for the coming seasons. It’s a big step for us to return to the biggest races with Trek-Segafredo,” said Benjamin Marinier, product manager. “Time pedals are top-tier in many ways, such as lightness, aerodynamics, comfort, and adjustability. We spent a lot of time with the athletes to set everything up according to their needs.”

“There is no better demonstration of a pedal’s quality and performance than a World Tour team with so many choices selecting them for their use. We are excited to see what Trek-Segafredo can achieve on arguably the most proven pedal system in the world,” said SRAM CEO Ken Lousberg.
Trek-Segafredo will use Time XPRO pedals, designed with a focus on the cyclist. Time road pedals feature ICLIC technology for easy entry, a low stack height for improved efficiency, a large platform for better power transfer, and angular float as well as Q-factor to reduce tension and prevent injuries.
