The MET Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is a high-performance road helmet designed and developed for the most prolific and acclaimed cyclists. It has been worn during two Tour de France victories and during stage wins in Grand Tours, Monuments, and one-day races. It has been at the forefront on all terrains, from the imposing Hajar Mountains to the Italian Strade Bianche, passing through the Flanders cobbles and the peaks of the Pyrenees.

Mips Air, the Brain Protection System

Met claims to never compromise on performance. That’s why they added MIPS AIR®, the most advanced system for managing rotational forces in the event of an impact. MIPS AIR® has been specifically designed to be the lightest possible system to reduce rotational energy transmitted to the head during specific angular impacts. Unlike the traditional cage, MIPS AIR® is integrated into the comfort pads, allowing a relative movement of 10-15mm between the absorbing membrane and the foam.

3K Carbon Technology

The construction of the MET Trenta 3K carbon MIPS® outperforms all helmets on the market. Met’s R&D team used the elastic properties of carbon modules, which allow for a 20% reduction in EPS foam density without affecting the helmet’s ability to absorb energy. The result is a lighter shell while being more performant compared to the classic design of a ventilated helmet.
