Onboard Technologies and Options
The 699D offers rare modularity for both competitors and experienced cyclists; everything is configurable according to riding style, morphology, and tastes and preferences.
Zero-degree seatpost options for triathletes, as well as a separate stem and handlebar assembly for those who prefer this configuration, are available. The 699D also features new custom finishes to discover on the online configurator.
Technically: its cockpit adopts the ACR standard, and its new design fully integrates hoses and cables, as well as the seatpost clamp into the top tube, to offer a significant aerodynamic gain.
The new 699D features Japanese Toray T1000 carbon fiber — more resistant to traction and offering greater stiffness — as well as latex bladder molding technology, which makes it more reliable while reducing its weight.
Tested in an independent laboratory, all frames meet safety requirements according to current international standards (ISO/FDIS 4210-6).
