What’s more, when paired with the Tacx Training app on a compatible smartphone, athletes can follow targeted training plans, participate in Pro Rides sessions, or explore the world through immersive Tacx videos.
“We are thrilled to bring these innovative updates to the Tacx NEO Bike Plus, making it one of the most versatile and appealing indoor trainers on the market.“ said Dan Bartel, Garmin Vice President of Global Consumer Sales. “With precise analytical data, a customizable design, and access to hundreds of training videos from around the world through the Tacx Training app, the Tacx NEO Bike Plus is here to help you ride unique and epic routes, climb challenging ascents, and log kilometers all year long, all from the comfort of your home.”
An even more immersive outdoor experience
Featuring an advanced training and performance tracking system, the Tacx NEO Bike Plus is designed to make every experience even more realistic.
- Realistic gear shifting feel thanks to new programmable shifters for SHIMANO, SRAM, or Campagnolo.
- Feel different road surfaces, such as cobblestones or gravel, when the indoor trainer is paired with the Tacx Training app or compatible applications.
- Dynamic inertia to maintain a forward motion sensation based on speed and gradient.
- Descent simulation when the device is connected to an external power source.
- Measurement of left and right leg position to better analyze pedaling technique and develop a more efficient pedal stroke.
Exceptional design
With power measurement accurate to within 1% (margin of error) and reliable and consistent analytical data regarding speed and cadence, the Tacx NEO Bike Plus gives cyclists a comprehensive and clear view of their performance. Featuring an ultra-balanced design to ensure maximum stability, the Tacx NEO Bike Plus is one of the quietest indoor trainers on the market and supports all sprints up to 2200 watts. Cyclists can train for outdoor climbs or increase the intensity of a workout by pedaling on realistically simulated gradients of up to 25% incline.
Fully adjustable, the Tacx NEO Bike Plus is designed to adapt quickly and be shared by multiple athletes. Five different crank lengths offer a precise and personalized fit, and the seatpost and handlebar stem can be adjusted to the millimeter, simplifying the adaptation of settings to those of the cyclist’s outdoor bike. In addition, the integrated interactive fans are automatically controlled by the user’s power or heart rate.
Connectivity and performance
Featuring an integrated 4.5-inch display and two USB ports, the Tacx NEO Bike Plus provides access to the Tacx Training app and other training platforms from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Cyclists can track their performance on their Garmin Edge bike computer. With the premium subscription to the Tacx Training app, they can enjoy total immersion in their training through over 250 HD videos from around the world and participate in “Ride with the Pros” challenges, including exclusive videos from Garmin-sponsored teams. It is also possible to follow workouts, compete against live opponents, upload GPS data, ride with 3D maps, and much more. Finally, after a ride, each cyclist finds all their data directly in the Garmin Connect app, making it easy to view statistics and maps or analyze their progress.
