Reserve Wheels will equip Team Jumbo-Visma starting in 2023 for World Tour events.
The Californian company Reserve has so far equipped Team Jumbo-Visma Women and Team Jumbo-Visma Academy, and has been working closely with its riders since 2021 – including the development of the 77|Infinity Disc TT wheelset, which already won stage 20 of this year’s Tour de France. This relationship underscores the close cooperation between Reserve, Cervélo and Team Jumbo-Visma, who share the common goal of designing road bikes as part of a complete aerodynamic system to provide the fastest and most efficient equipment in the peloton.
“Supporting the professional Jumbo-Visma team has always been a dream for Reserve and we have been working on it for two years,” says Joël Smith, Reserve Brand Manager. “Stage victories on the World Tour by Van Aert and Roglič on our 77|Infinity Disc wheelset prove that we are capable of making some of the fastest wheels in the world. We are delighted that Team Jumbo-Visma will now be using our full range of wheels.“

Richard Plugge, General Manager of Team Jumbo-Visma, says: “I am very excited about our collaboration with Reserve Wheels. We have already had several successes with the brand over the past two years in the women’s and junior programs and even on the Tour this year, and the brand has shown what it is capable of. This is an exciting time for the team and we are happy to have a strong partner like Reserve to support our future technical developments.”
Reserve will become the exclusive wheel supplier for 2023 and in addition to the 77|Infinity Disc wheel already used in time trials, the team will be able to rely on the following models:
– The 34|37 wheels, an ultra-light climbing wheelset, ideal for tackling mountain roads.
– The 40|44 wheels, a versatile and comfortable wheelset for varied surfaces, but with a rim depth high enough to offer aerodynamic advantages.
– The 52|63 wheels, an aerodynamic wheelset, designed for breakaways, sprints, triathlons and criteriums, where minimal aerodynamic drag ensures maximum efficiency.
Reserve relies on advanced developments in carbon technology and aerodynamics, and was the first brand to offer a lifetime warranty on carbon wheels. This year, the brand launched the “Turbulent Aero” program, a unique R&D initiative, based on collecting aerodynamic data in the field and then reproducing it in a wind tunnel to create the fastest, most stable and most maneuverable wheels in real conditions.
