On November 4, Zwift, the global online fitness platform, will launch the Tour of Makuri Islands. A new tour, and with it, a host of events to discover and take the time to explore Zwift’s latest world: the Makuri Islands. Zwift intends to continue motivating Zwifters around the world to stay active during the winter!

The Tour of Makuri Islands is a 6-stage tour, which will allow Zwifters to explore every corner of the Makuri map: from Yumezi and its fantastic countryside with green fields, ginkgo forests, and cherry blossoms, to Neokyo, the city with its imposing buildings, neon billboards, and bright expressways. The first four stages will take place on Neokyo and Yumezi, while stages 5 and 6 will be held on the new Urukazi map. For each stage, it will be possible to choose between long or short routes, to fit even more easily into busy schedules.
This new tour is organized so that all Zwifters will find something to enjoy. For regulars, it will be about taking part in the Tour’s group events listed on the calendar. Those who prioritize conviviality can complete a stage with their friends during a Club event or a MeetUp. For the more competitive, join an organized race. And for those who are primarily aiming for training, they will complete a stage in training mode. The Tour of Makuri Islands is definitely the most effective way to combine cycling progression and fitness goals in November.
As part of this Tour, the most flexible ever organized on Zwift, Zwifters will be able to schedule their rides at their own pace or sign up for a group event. Starting November 25, they will have one week to catch up on missed stages during group rides. After completing all 6 stages, all Zwifters will unlock the Tour of Makuri Islands kit.
