For others, the Zwift Academy was a unique chance to try and join a professional cycling team. Among thousands of people, ten riders rose to the top and were selected to be among the finalists.

The five finalists competing for a spot with CANYON//SRAM are:

  • Alice Morrice, Great Britain

The Zwift Academy Road finals will take place at Syncrosfera, a health and performance center located in Denia, Spain. During the finals, the ten finalists will complete training sessions in groups and with their potential teams.

The Zwift Academy team and professional team coaches will also be present to analyze all performance data from efforts made on Zwift, on the road during the finals, as well as during off-bike challenges.

The finals will be broadcast by GCN. Five episodes will be aired starting December 13, and the winners will be announced on December 17.
