Trek unveils its Domane+ SLR electric road bike

Trek introduces the all-new Domane+ SLR, an ultra-light electric road bike weighing just under 12 kg. The Domane+ SLR doesn’t look, sound, feel, or ride like an e-bike. It features a lightweight carbon frame, a silent motor, and road-specific tuning so you feel like you’re riding a real road bike while benefiting from a subtle yet powerful boost when you need it.

Incredibly light and compact electric system

The all-new Domane+ SLR weighs only about 12 kg thanks to a lightweight frame and a compact electric system. The TQ harmonic pin ring electric system is surprisingly light, quiet, and compact, while offering enough extra power for the most epic adventures.

Designed for distance

The Domane+ SLR has a 360 watt-hour battery that allows you to travel approximately 96 km in Eco mode (or about 145 km with the optional 160 watt-hour Range Extender battery). And you can ride even further by customizing the electric assist in the Trek Central app.

The feel of a real road bike

A Q-factor close to that of a standard road bike, intuitive mode control buttons on the hoods, and terrain-specific tuning give the Domane+ SLR the fit and feel of a traditional road bike, while giving you a boost on hills, on windy days, or for long days in the saddle.

IsoSpeed technology for more comfort

The Domane+ SLR was built with the same comfortable features as the traditional Domane, including rear IsoSpeed to smooth out road bumps and stable endurance geometry for comfort on long rides.

Versatile tire clearance

With 40 mm tire clearance, riders can easily switch from smooth pavement to compacted gravel. For e-gravel enthusiasts, eTap models are equipped with gravel tires and a SRAM 1x XPLR groupset.
