Fizik presents a new winter cycling shoe model: the Artica Gore-Tex

The Artica Gore-Tex family of Fizik winter shoes comes in two models: one for road (Tempo) and one for MTB/Gravel (Terra). In both cases, these shoes are designed to get you through the bad season with your feet protected from the elements of rain and cold.

On the outside, a high-density PU laminated upper is the ideal combination with the Gore-Tex membrane. The addition of a Velcro strap secures the ankle in place, while a single BOA® L6 closure allows for micro-adjustments, even with thick winter socks.

Inside the shoe, a soft brushed fleece lining increases both insulation and comfort, whether riding in cold rain or dry weather below 0°C.

The nylon outsole has been newly redesigned to offer greater comfort and less extreme stiffness than models designed for warmer seasons. In addition, the cleat position is set slightly further back than the traditional range to reduce stress on the knee. The outsole has no ventilated holes to keep feet warm and dry.
