New Suunto 9 Peak Pro GPS Watch Unveiled

Suunto today unveils the 9 Peak Pro. The Finnish company’s new multisport GPS watch is fully carbon compensated and features a new, faster, and simpler user interface with best-in-class battery life. All integrated into an ultra-thin and elegant case, tested to the most stringent resistance standards.

As always with Suunto watches, the Suunto 9 Peak Pro will not compromise on robustness or elegance. Building on the award-winning design of the Suunto 9 Peak, it is extremely durable while being one of the thinnest (10.8 mm) and lightest GPS sports watches in its class.
It fits everywhere, is suitable for small wrists, and can adapt to all environments.

It’s made for those who tackle Everest, track their diving depth with the new snorkeling mode, keep track of their bike rides to see how much CO2 they’ve saved, or those who transition from a sports activity to an evening outfit without a hitch.

The Suunto 9 Peak Pro offers the best battery life of any Suunto watch to date, with three battery modes: Performance (40h), Endurance (70h), and Tour (300h).

Reliable and Durable

The Suunto 9 Peak Pro can connect to four satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU) and up to 32 individual satellites simultaneously. This results in greater accuracy when exercising in challenging GPS conditions, such as under tall buildings or in very steep mountain valleys.

With the Suunto 9 Peak Pro, Suunto goes even further in its environmental commitment. It is designed to be durable and repairable and, like all Suunto watches, handcrafted in Finland with 100% renewable energy. It is the first Suunto whose carbon footprint has been calculated and is fully offset with VCUs (Verified Carbon Units). Throughout its lifetime, it creates only 7.50 kg of CO2, equivalent to a fossil fuel car traveling 44 km.
