Navigation is at the forefront of its design and development: the ROAM is the most powerful and intuitive GPS bike computer integrating into the Wahoo ecosystem. The new ROAM features dual-band GPS, which provides an improved and more accurate navigation experience, especially when riding in areas where GPS reception may be limited, such as forests or urban areas.
The updated Summit Segments Climb feature makes it easier than ever for cyclists to check their progress on a climb. This already popular feature is now automatic. The ROAM detects climbs in a pre-loaded route, displays those that have already been completed, and users can view more detailed information on current or upcoming climbs in their ride.
The ROAM features a high-contrast 64-color screen, allowing users to easily navigate their training screens, while benefiting from more detailed mapping data and easier-to-read color-coded charts, graphs, and data fields.
The new ELEMNT ROAM integrates seamlessly with Wahoo’s connected ecosystem of indoor/outdoor training solutions. Now, cyclists can sync their ROAM workouts with their Wahoo X subscription, gaining access to structured outdoor workouts and a complete workout history in the Wahoo SYSTM app.
The ROAM also controls all KICKR smart indoor trainers and the KICKR BIKE and pairs with all other connected devices from the brand. The ROAM thus offers incredible flexibility to cyclists for their indoor and outdoor training sessions!
The ELEMNT ROAM also adds a host of new features, such as a USB-C port, convex buttons, an ambient light sensor, perfect view zoom options, Quicklook LEDs, smart on-device navigation, and seamless multisport transition.
The new ROAM has also integrated the Supersapiens glucose sensor system, allowing cyclists to constantly keep an eye on their glucose data mid-ride, without the need for a phone, with a simple glance.
Mike Saturnia, CEO of Wahoo, states: “We are incredibly proud to announce the latest edition to our bike computer lineup. The new ELEMNT ROAM aims to make the GPS experience for cyclists as seamless and accurate as possible, while providing unparalleled data accuracy to athletes in a simple, easy-to-use product. Three years ago, the ROAM was launched with the mission to enable cyclists to ride further and explore new frontiers. The new ROAM with its range of new features continues this objective and positions this product as the premier bike computer for any cyclist looking for performance and ease of use.” He adds: “The integrated capabilities of Wahoo X and the ROAM represent a new advancement in creating the most innovative and connected ecosystem for cyclists and athletes in general.”
The new ELEMNT ROAM is available for €399.99
