Shimano launches new S-Phyre RC903 shoes

For those who constantly push their limits and seek maximum performance, the all-new S-Phyre RC903 and RC903W women’s shoes offer the best in road racing footwear. These are the shoes worn by Mathieu van der Poel at the end of the season for the World Championships.

Optimized Foot Fit

Using the Bikefitting.com pedal analysis system, Shimano engineers examined 3D data to better understand how cyclists apply pressure throughout the pedal stroke, identifying distinct areas where force is applied differently within the shoe. They then optimized the last shape and materials of the new RC903 and the women’s RC903W to maximize power transfer while maintaining comfort.

The BOA Li2 amplifies the sock-like feel, where two ultra-lightweight Boa dials and a new cross-lacing pattern combine to offer personalized micro-adjustability so you can easily modify the fit, even while riding. The new RC903 also features a new heel cup with a more integrated appearance. The unique Shimano Dynalast shape offers an expanded fit range to accommodate a wider variety of foot shapes and sizes. The result is a new stabilizing, more secure, anti-twist heel shape that optimizes foot fit and stability, keeping your heel in place to prevent any movement during hard efforts.

RC903W: Designed Specifically for Women

The RC903W S-PHYRE women’s shoe offers the same premium performance features but in a refined last shape designed specifically for women.
