Heading into the heart of the Bauges Massif!

The 415 participants on the Semnoz route (130 km | D+ 2,850m) enjoyed an exceptional panorama on the first part of the route as they reached the summit of Semnoz. After climbing to Crêt de Chatillon, they descended into the valley to Pont de l’Abîme and rejoined the 380 participants on the Bauges Route (110 km | D+ 2,020m), staying with them until the finish. Together, they discovered the rolling roads of the Bauges Massif, heading towards Col de Plainpalais, Aillon-le Jeune, Le Châtelard, and La Motte en Bauges.

At Le Châtelard, they shared the road with the riders of the Tour du Châtelard (55 km / D+1,150m), who enjoyed a more accessible and less demanding route. Between the alpine peaks, local producers, pastures, and alpine meadows, these three AlpinBike Lac d’Annecy routes had a strong territorial identity and allowed participants to discover the Bauges in all their splendor.

A record-breaking edition

With 1,105 registered participants over the entire weekend, this new edition of the AlpinBike Lac d’Annecy broke all records! Between the Semnoz climb reserved for lovers of steep ascents, the Gravel course counting as a round of the Gravel’Tour Cannondale, and the various cyclo routes included in the Cyclo’Tour Rotor challenge, there was something for everyone at the AlpinBike Lac d’Annecy.
