Garmin introduces Enduro 2: the connected multisport GPS watch for ultra-endurance. Enduro 2 is robust, lightweight, and features TopoActive maps with international coverage, a powerful LED flashlight, and Garmin’s exclusive SatIQ automatic GPS selection mode, which extends battery life. In addition, its solar glass extends battery life up to 46 days in smartwatch mode and up to 150 hours in GPS mode1, perfect for ultra-endurance races and grand adventures.

“Ultra-endurance athletes know what commitment means. Enduro 2 is a unique tool that athletes can rely on to enhance their outdoor experience, training, and recovery,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin Vice President of Global Consumer Sales.

“Now, with its integrated mapping, touchscreen, enhanced battery life, and numerous performance features, Enduro 2 is an essential for any ultra-endurance athlete.”

Designed for Extremes

Crafted with premium materials for ultimate durability and comfort, Enduro 2 features a lightweight and sophisticated titanium bezel and case back, a 1.4-inch Power Sapphire lens, an Ultrafit nylon strap for a secure and comfortable fit, and a new touchscreen interface in addition to button controls. During the day, Enduro 2 harnesses solar energy to provide up to 150 hours of battery life in GPS mode and up to 46 days in smartwatch mode. Even at night, endurance athletes can continue training thanks to this new adjustable LED flashlight, Garmin’s most powerful to date. It is twice as powerful as the one on the fēnix 7X and offers an optional strobe mode to match the runner’s cadence or a “red safety” light mode that allows users to see and be seen.

Features for Ultra-Endurance

Thanks to the improved solar glass, the battery lasts up to 57% longer than previous models. Designed to last on ultra-endurance races, Enduro 2 integrates Garmin navigation functions, integrated TopoActive and ski maps, as well as multi-band GNSS systems with SatIQ technology that selects the most suitable GPS mode for the environment, for longer battery life and superior positioning accuracy. Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows for easy software downloads and map updates without using a computer.

New Tools for Training and Racing

  • NextFork maps indicate the distance to the next intersection and the name of the upcoming trail.
  • Grade-adjusted pace allows runners to regulate their speed on varied terrain by displaying their equivalent flat-ground running pace, enabling them to maintain their endurance throughout a race.
  • The visual race predictor provides a pace estimate for upcoming races based on history and overall fitness level. This data shows the impact of training over time and helps optimize performance.
  • The automatic rest timer records breaks during ultra races. This allows for recording and differentiating time spent racing and at aid stations.
  • New “Adventure Race” activity profile, approved by ARWS, allows tracking and recording biometric data, displaying one or more timers, and using other integrated functions such as altimeter and compass, all while complying with the sport’s regulations.

Wellness Tracking

The new Health Snapshot feature records and generates a report of key statistics, including heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen level with Pulse Ox, respiration, and stress2. Advanced features include Body Battery, Fitness Age, and sleep tracking, as well as a variety of sports apps and integrated GPS for mountain biking, swimming, hiking, running, golf, yoga, and surfing. Thanks to the collected health data, Enduro 2 offers functions such as recovery advice and daily workouts to provide runners with the tools to help them perform at their best.

Stay Connected

Between activities, runners can enjoy Garmin Pay contactless payments and receive notifications for calls, texts, calendar reminders, social media updates, and more when the watch is paired with a compatible Android or Apple smartphone. Finally, Enduro 2 can send a message with the runner’s live location to their contacts, manually or automatically during certain activities with integrated automatic incident detection if needed3.
