CADEX introduces its all-new CADEX Tri frame and new aero wheels, designed for competitive athletes. Both components have been developed, tested, and proven at the highest level by CADEX athletes such as recent Ironman World Champion Kristian Blummenfelt.
The CADEX triathlon frame is a no-compromise triathlon machine, designed and developed to ensure a personalized fit, integrated frame elements for race performance, exceptional aerodynamic performance, and maximum efficiency. The aero wheelset has already won numerous professional races; these are the fastest wheels ever designed by CADEX.

In May, Blummenfelt rode a prototype of the new frame and wheels to win the Ironman World Championship in St. George, Utah. On a challenging course with over 7000 meters of elevation gain, Blummenfelt pushed himself to win the race, despite competing in the Ironman World Championships for the first time. A month later, the Norwegian athlete made history again by becoming the first triathlete to break the 7-hour barrier over an Ironman distance. He achieved this performance at Pho3nix Sub7 in Germany, on a bike equipped with the CADEX Tri frame and AERO wheels.
Custom Geometry
Its high adjustability is one of the characteristics of the CADEX Tri frame, allowing for easy and quick adaptation of the bike’s geometry by choosing from over 1000 configurations. Triathletes of all sizes and measurements can find the ideal setup and maintain a comfortable and optimized position over long distances.

The cockpit stack can be adjusted by 80 mm in height and offers eight different positions. Spacers can be placed above or below the handlebar, creating 40 mm of adjustable height, allowing the armrests and extensions to be positioned closer or further apart. The extensions can be moved forward or backward by 90 mm, in 15 mm increments, and the width can be adjusted over a range of 190 to 310 mm, in 15 mm increments (seven possible positions). The armrest angle, developed in partnership with Sync. Ergonomics, can be set to four different positions (0, 5, 10, 15 degrees) with quick adjustment of the angled shims.
The position on the bike can be optimized by adjusting the saddle setback and modifying the seat tube angle. When the saddle is set back to its maximum, the angle is 76 degrees, while it is 80 degrees when in its most forward position.
Aero Endurance
Being aerodynamic for 40 or even 80 km is not enough. To win an Ironman or set a new record, a triathlete must be able to maintain the most aerodynamic position possible for 180 km. The design of the CADEX triathlon frame was guided by a philosophy: aerodynamic performance goes beyond wind tunnel data. It’s about improving the component’s capabilities for real competitions.

Integrated Race Tools
Over the years, triathletes have had to develop their own methods for carrying their drinks, food, and essential tools, but the Cadex Tri frame offers a complete solution fully integrated into the frame, out of the wind. From the beginning of the project, the storage of necessary race items was an important performance objective. Today, it is one of the main elements that differentiates the CADEX Tri frame from the competition.
The unique chassis, an imposing down tube without a top tube, includes a bento box, a hydration system, and a toolbox, all integrated into the frame. This allows the cyclist to hydrate and refuel quickly and easily without changing position. The hydration system includes a removable reservoir placed in the down tube. The liquid is accessible via a straw that extends from the aero base to the head tube, allowing the cyclist to hydrate during the race without removing their hands from the handlebars. A refill port makes refilling easy and quick during the effort.
The removable bento box is designed to hold ten 32ml gels, for a size L frame, and be easily accessible in an aerodynamic position. Located at the top of the down tube, it features a rubber lid that keeps items in place while allowing part of the packaging to protrude for easy access. The frame also includes an integrated toolbox located just above the bottom bracket. It is accessible from the non-drive side and contains essential repair items: a multi-tool, a pump, and a CO2 inflator.
Total Efficiency
From the start of the project, the ultimate goal of the CADEX Tri frame was to create a bike with flawless efficiency for Ironman races. Designed with high-quality T1000 carbon fiber, as well as advanced layup techniques, the CADEX Tri frame combines pedaling and torsional stiffness with a weight of just 4577 grams. This exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio ensures no watts are lost while pedaling. Combined with an ultra-adaptable fit, revolutionary aerodynamic endurance technology, and a fully integrated hydration and nutrition system, records are bound to be broken.

A Complete Travel Solution
The frame comes with a Topeak travel case that minimizes assembly and disassembly needs. The handlebar and extensions can be easily folded into the case without being disassembled. The case is made of polycarbonate, ensuring protection and impact resistance. It has wheels for easier transport and meets airline baggage criteria. It includes a protective pocket, a drivetrain cover, and a frame mounting system to keep it protected inside the case. This system can also serve as a work stand.
CADEX Aero Wheelsystems
In addition to the CADEX Tri frame, CADEX unveils the new CADEX Aero Disc Wheelsystems and 3-spoke wheels designed for triathlon and time trial races. Designed through wind tunnel analysis and tested in real Ironman races, these are the fastest wheels ever created by CADEX. The disc wheel is designed for the rear, while the 4-spoke aero disc wheel can be mounted on both the front and rear.

The CADEX Aero Disc Wheelsystems are made with ultralight and high-stiffness 18K carbon fiber. The precision-machined CADEX R3-C40 hub features ceramic bearings and an all-new 40-tooth ratchet system. The CADEX R3-C40 hub reduces pedaling friction by 33% and coasting friction by 31.5% compared to previous CADEX Aero Wheelsystems.
The hookless rim with an internal width of 22.4mm improves the overall strength of the wheel and creates a rounder, more uniform tire shape with a wider contact patch. This improves power transfer to the ground and produces a smoother ride quality. Tubeless tires allow riders to reduce tire pressure, so the tires conform better to road imperfections. This results in better efficiency, less rider fatigue, increased comfort, and better control in challenging conditions. Disc brakes allow for more aerodynamic wheels by reducing lateral drag.
