The Martinique International Cycling Tour
► From July 9 to 17 on Martinique La 1ère
In July, the “Petite Reine” (Little Queen, a nickname for cycling) will crisscross the roads of Martinique to offer the public a spectacle worthy of the name. For the Martinique International Cycling Tour, the teams of Martinique La 1ère will be hard at work. A special “Avant le tour” (Before the Tour) show, Tour daily news, full live coverage, special editions, magazines – these are just some of the events set up by Martinique La 1ère on its radio, TV, and digital channels, as well as on social media.
The Grand Prix Pays Marie-Galante
► From July 18 to 24 on Guadeloupe La 1ère
Following the Guadeloupe International Cycling Tour, the Tour de Marie-Galante is a race whose stages are contested on the island of Marie-Galante – nicknamed the “Grande Galette” (Big Galette) in reference to its low relief – off the coast of Guadeloupe. Each year, the Tour de Marie-Galante attracts the best cyclists from the Overseas Territories. The teams of Guadeloupe La 1ère will be set up in the heart of the Tour village for 360° coverage of the race and its behind-the-scenes, and will also introduce listeners and viewers to the charms of the island.
The Guadeloupe International Cycling Tour
► From August 5 to 14 on Guadeloupe La 1ère
For its 71st edition, the Guadeloupe Cycling Tour will start as usual from the streets of Pointe-à-Pitre. Both cultural, sporting, and popular, it began in 1948 and became international in 1979. For Guadeloupeans, beyond the sporting competition, this event has acquired heritage value. During the Tour, Guadeloupe La 1ère will mobilize all its teams with the objective of bringing this unmissable event of the territory to its audiences across three media. On the ground, the teams will produce live broadcasts, magazines, and special pages on radio and TV. Interviews, analysis of the standings, reactions from riders and sports directors, as well as the sidelines of the race will allow everyone to have an overall view of it. On the web and social media of Guadeloupe La 1ère, the event will be permanent, to the delight of fans.
The Tour de Guyane
► From August 13 to 21 on Guyane La 1ère
The Tour cycliste de Guyane is the sporting event of the year in Guyana. The stage cycling competition is one of the unmissable moments. It takes place in nine stages connecting the main cities of the department: Cayenne, Kourou, Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni. The Tour, which became international in 1978, has grown in importance and popularity over the editions, and its duration has lengthened. Participation has also expanded, going from a predominantly Guyanese peloton in the first editions to editions with more than 10 different nationalities. As every year, enthusiasts will be able to experience this event on radio, TV, and the web thanks to Guyane La 1ère, which deploys exceptional technical resources.
The New Caledonia Cycling Tour
► In October on Nouvelle-Calédonie La 1ère
Since 1967, this cycling event has been contested throughout the territory. A difficult competition, with often short but steep climbs, it remains one of New Caledonia’s flagship events. Furthermore, since 2016, a women’s tour has been organized in New Caledonia, titled “Au tour d’elles” (Their Turn). Its classification is based on points, not cumulative times. Nouvelle-Calédonie La 1ère is present at both events with daily broadcasts on its channels of the day’s stages, interviews with riders at the start and finish, and behind-the-scenes coverage of the race.

On La1ere.fr, France Télévisions’ Overseas digital offering
For those who will not be in the Overseas Territories, the Outre-mer division offers on the Overseas digital platform La1ere.fr a system allowing access to replays of magazines from Guyane La 1ère, Guadeloupe La 1ère, and Martinique La 1ère.
