Canyon unveils its 2022 Aeroad range

This is the most advanced aerodynamic bike development to date, the result of four years of testing, countless simulations, and meticulous wind tunnel validation, all in collaboration with aerodynamics experts Swiss Side.

The Canyon Aeroad is one of the iconic bikes in the professional peloton, if only because it is ridden by one of its stars: Mathieu Van der Poel. His palmarès, including the Tour of Flanders, a stage of the Tour de France, and Strade Bianche, has propelled this bike onto the podiums of the biggest races.

For 2022, the brand’s goal is to make the performance of the Aeroad family more accessible. To do this, three frame platforms are offered: Aeroad CFR for professional-level performance, CF SLX for an intermediate range, and CF SL, the most affordable.

All bikes will be equipped with aero wheels from DT Swiss and will meet the needs of cyclists from 1.58 m to 2 m. From the CLX level upwards, all bikes come standard with a power meter.

At the high end, three flagship bikes from the CFR family are equipped with particularly high-performance DT Swiss wheels. Just below, starting at €4999, is the Aeroad CF SLX with Sram Rival.

As for the Aeroad CF SL, it starts at €3999 with its Shimano Ultegra derailleurs and DT Swiss Arc 1600 wheels.
