Orbea, Official Brand at the Shimano Experience Center

The two companies are joining forces to collaborate within the brand’s first Shimano Experience Center, where Orbea will offer its Demo test rides.

Orbea becomes an official partner of the world’s first Shimano Experience Center, located in Valkenburg (Netherlands), where visitors have the opportunity to see, touch, and try out the latest products from the Japanese brand.

Specifically, Orbea will offer its Demo test rides at the center for people interested in buying one of its bikes. It will thus be possible to try out a Rise equipped with the new Shimano EP8 RS motor or other new models that Orbea will gradually add to its fleet of test bikes at the Shimano Experience Center.

This is an opportunity to answer any remaining questions that may arise during the bike purchase process, allowing customers to touch the product, discover the bike’s advantages firsthand, and receive expert advice.

“It is very interesting for our brand to be able to partner with Shimano and offer the possibility to test our product at the Shimano Experience Center. The potential of the region adds to a very comprehensive proposal from Shimano,” explains Igor Peña, Demo Manager at Orbea. “Trying a Rise on a five-star route and finishing with a shower and a coffee or another snack is a fantastic experience for any cyclist,” he concludes.

The Shimano Experience Center is located in Valkenburg (Netherlands), an ideal place for cycling due to its many route possibilities. The city is also known for hosting the Amstel Gold Race, a World Tour road event that annually attracts the world’s cycling elite as well as cyclists and enthusiasts from around the globe.

More Demo options

Through this collaboration with the Shimano Experience Center, Orbea takes a new step in its product test ride strategy by adding an additional option to the various possibilities already offered.

The brand has been developing its Demo test program for several years, one of the most comprehensive in the entire cycling industry. The general public can thus try out products at one of Orbea’s authorized dealers, Genius stores, or at specific Demo events organized by the brand.

It is possible to book an individual test ride at one of their Genius dealers at any time via the Orbea website, a test ride at the new Shimano Experience Center on the official website, or by following Orbea’s social media, where upcoming Demo events will be announced.
