This partnership offers multidisciplinary athletes a seamless solution for managing performance tracking, training efforts, and route finding. Athletes can now ride with the Karoo 2 cycling computer, while running, swimming, and hiking with the Suunto watch.
All training sessions from this device are now visible in the Suunto app for comprehensive performance analysis. They can also be integrated with 200 other tools connected to the Suunto App to maximize benefits.
Starting today, Hammerhead customers can connect to the Suunto app via Karoo 2 and Hammerhead Dashboard. Cyclists will notably have access to Suunto Heatmaps, allowing them to follow the most popular cycling paths. The Karoo 2 is the first non-Suunto branded device that can be fully used with the Suunto app. It is also the first bike computer to display the most popular paths in real-time. Additionally, cyclists can contribute to heatmaps by sharing their ride data to benefit other athletes.
To celebrate this partnership, Hammerhead and Suunto, along with Komoot, have invited athletes worldwide, regardless of their discipline, to participate in the #SeeTheAdventureAhead Earth Day challenge. For eligible activities uploaded between April 22 and May 11, 2022, Hammerhead, Suunto, and Komoot will commit to planting 10,000 trees with the Tree Nation charity organization.
