For families

Bring the whole family along on the Tour du Lachat (Crest-Voland/Cohennoz): the route alternates between tracks and fun trails to form a loop with a 360-degree panorama, notably over Mont-Blanc. It is a great outing to try together, covering 5 km with 130 m of elevation gain before a picnic break by the lake.

For little riders in the making, the Val d’Arly has two play areas:

– Plan Désert: located at the foot of the Lac chairlift at Plan Désert, it offers two easy loops using various modules that challenge balance and line choice.

– Lachat: a play area split into two sub-courses: Belette and Ecureuil

For nature lovers

Ideal for switching off, the Chaucisse loop, high above St Nicolas la Chapelle, treats you to splendid views of Mont-Blanc. The climb up the Chaucisse valley follows a small mountain road. From Chaucisse, the descent to Flumet is on a track, with a few technical sections that make the outing all the more fun! Along the way, a stop at the lake allows for a swim break before getting back on the road.

To continue the escape into the heart of the mountains, head for the “Route des chalets”, a lovely out-and-back from the Aravis pass that ventures as far as the very wild combes overlooking the Petetruy chalets, running along the Aravis cliffs on one side, with a balcony view of Mont-Blanc on the other. Surrounded by mountain pastures, you will almost certainly meet cheese producers along the way. A chance for a picnic break?

For the more athletic

The Tour de la Tête du Torraz is made for you! Starting from La Giettaz, climb gradually through the hamlets overlooking the Val d’Arly. Passing by la Bonne Fontaine and the Refuge du Plan de l’Aar, enjoy the superb panorama over the Mont-Blanc and Aravis ranges, before starting the descent, alternating between track and forest.
