The community asked for it, Suunto delivered. The sports watch manufacturer Suunto now integrates training, nutrition, and hydration plans directly into its watches, thanks to SuuntoPlus guides. Fourteen partners, including well-established training services and innovative startups, have already integrated their own functions into Suunto watches.

Whether it’s for following a training plan, interval training sessions, or perhaps a nutrition plan for a race, SuuntoPlus guides are there to help athletes. Available à la carte, these features are deployed on the Suunto 9, Suunto 5 and Suunto 3.
“With this integration, Suunto is deploying a whole new way to guide training, directly from the user’s wrist,” explains Janne Kalio, Ecosystem Manager at Suunto. “This mode of operation allows new innovative applications to integrate their training plans, intervals, race plans and virtual challenges into your Suunto. We are delighted with the truly positive feedback we have received from our partners about this new technology.”
