The centerpiece of the new range is the CADEX AR 35 wheelset. Weighing only 1270g for the pair, the wheels feature hookless carbon rims and a very good stiffness-to-weight ratio.
A precise design and tuning process achieves the same impact resistance as carbon XC MTB wheels while being lighter than competing wheels. “At CADEX, we spend a lot of time testing wheels on the trails,” said Jeff Schneider, CADEX Product Manager and Marketing Lead.

“From long days on California backroads to mixed-terrain adventures in Asia and Europe, to racing like the Belgian Waffle Ride, we knew there were aspects of the ride experience we could improve. So, over the past few years, we’ve merged our real-world experiences with laboratory testing to develop a wheel system we’re incredibly proud of.” A key feature of the CADEX AR 35 wheelset is its responsiveness. A brand-new, precision-machined CADEX R2-C60 hub features ceramic bearings and an exclusive R-Drive 60-tooth ratchet freehub body with a durable flat spring. The result is a freehub body that reacts in milliseconds for improved efficiency and instant engagement.

“We are very proud of this new product and what it brings to Gravel,” added Mr. Schneider. “We’ve rethought everything, from the freehub body to the teeth, to create an ultra-responsive product and optimize power transfer. As we said: Effort. Acceleration.”
The CADEX AR 35 wheelset features a 25mm internal rim width, which creates a rounder, more uniform tire shape for road and wider gravel tires, plus increased sidewall support for cornering. A wider, shorter tread also reduces rolling resistance and improves shock absorption for a smoother ride. In addition, high-tensile carbon spokes and Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) increase lateral stiffness to maximize power transfer.
The new AR and GX Tubeless tires have been developed to help riders be more efficient, faster, and ensure impeccable control on all terrains, from road to muddy or gravel paths.
Both models feature a smoother 170 TPI casing, Kevlar/Carbon composite beads, and Dual Shield puncture protection. The AR tubeless tire is a fast, race-ready tire, ideal for paved and dirt roads where speed and traction are paramount.

The GX Tubeless tire is designed for the most challenging terrains, including gravel, sand, light mud, and rough roads or trails. The AR Tubeless tire features a dual AR-S compound with diamond-shaped knobs on the center tread and larger trapezoidal outer knobs for increased cornering traction. It’s a tire built for high responsiveness in all conditions and increased control regardless of speed. The AR tubeless tire weighs 425g and is available in 700x40c. The GX Tubeless tire features a dual GX-S compound and a narrow center tread.
