PROS – Kuurne – Brussels – Kuurne: The Route, Riders, and TV Broadcast Schedule

Kuurne – Bruxelles – Kuurne is traditionally the second race on the Belgian professional calendar, the day after the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Over a distance also approaching 200 km (195.1 km to be precise), the course will feature steep climbs and cobbled sections. Several additions are proposed this year with four new climbs (out of 13 in total). These are the Kattenberg, the Berg Ten Joute, the Hameau des Sapins and the Bourliquet, which will make their appearance.

The last real difficulty, the Kluisberg (1100 m – average gradient 6.3% – maximum gradient 11%) is located 54 km from the finish, which should favor regroupings and allow a very fast sprinter to win.

Among the riders in form, let’s mention Fabio Jakobsen, Caleb Ewan, Bryan Coquard and Anthony Turgis. A rider like Peter Sagan, even if he hasn’t yet shown guarantees this year, will certainly be very motivated to make his new TotalEnergies jersey shine.
