The 2022 Tour de la Provence takes place from February 10 to 13, with a program of 505 km spread over three stages and a prologue time trial. After a flat first stage (but with risks of echelons), the riders will gradually enter the difficulties with a very hilly stage on Saturday between Arles and Manosque, then with a high-altitude finish at Montagne de Lure (1570 m) on Sunday. Julian Alaphilippe (Quick Step – Alpha Vinyl) will make his season debut at the Provençal event, and will have his work cut out for him against Nairo Quintana (Arkéa – Samsic), Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadiers) and Ivan Sosa (Movistar). Find the stage routes, the list of participants, and TV broadcast times.
The Tour de la Provence stages are broadcast daily on l’Equipe TV around 2 PM, to follow the last two hours of each stage live. Predictions, analyses and comments: in the show Ça va frotter, before and after each stage (starting at 1:30 PM).
