RAR FIRST V2 is standard equipment across the entire range: road, Gravel, MTB. The wheels are even more turbulent, they are 40 to 70g lighter, and their lifespan soars.
The evolution effort focuses on:
– mass reduction through more precise machining and redesigned lines
– improved power transmission through finely optimized geometry
– increased freehub endurance through a new steel ratchet ring mechanism
The RAR FIRST V2 road disc hubset now weighs 322g with oversize bearings. The off-road RAR FIRST V2 BOOST version barely tips the scales at 372g/pair, also with robust bearings.
These latest developments elevate the level of performance of the wheels. This V2 of the hubs reaches a level of maturity worthy of the most prestigious hubs on the market. Their lifespan, ease of maintenance, and high performance correspond to the guiding principle that RAR has always given to its wheels.
