PROS – Philippe Gilbert unveils his new Lotto Soudal team jersey

For his last season as a pro, Philippe Gilbert is getting special attention: he has the honor of presenting the Lotto Soudal team’s 2022 kit. Very few changes in colors and design are expected for this team, which is banking on a certain continuity within its roster. The main arrivals are V. Campenaerts (Qhubeka Nexthash) and M. Schwarzmann (Bora-Hansgrohe), while among the departures, J. Degenkolb (Team DSM) is the most notable name.

Currently in full season preparation, the Walloon rider seems as motivated as ever and hopes to finally win the last Monument missing from his palmarès: Milan San Remo. This would cap off a magnificent career for a rider who is starting his 20th professional season and whose palmarès is one of the most impressive among active riders. More realistically, however, he has stated in recent days that he wishes to be present in the finale of the major races on the calendar.
