Gravel is the fastest-growing new cycling discipline. It is a category in itself, but it can have very different approaches. Gravel emerged as a way to travel without limits, combining asphalt and dirt as we pleased. Gradually, its popularity and the increasing number of riders led to the development of many competitions. The BH GravelX Carbon leverages many technologies used in road and mountain bike models to create a versatile frame and fork to meet all gravel-related challenges.

Talking about a Toray T800 and T500 carbon frame and BH’s HCIM manufacturing process is synonymous with lightness and rigidity. These technologies and materials that produce the best road and mountain bike frames are now used for the BH GravelX Carbon. The frame, in addition to being lightweight, is packed with technical details. The asymmetrical chainstays are specially designed to withstand the braking force generated by disc brakes when off-road. The BB386 EVO bottom bracket shell, flatmount brake caliper mounts, tire clearance adapted for tire widths up to 42 mm, and 12 mm thru-axles are all key points in the manufacturing of the BH GravelX Carbon to achieve performance.

We are not talking about a cyclocross bike adapted for gravel, but a bike developed from scratch for the demands of this discipline. Proof of this is its geometry. Its high head tube, which provides a comfortable position, avoids the use of a raised stem or the addition of many spacers. The sloping top tube is lower than on road models, while the wheelbase is longer for more stability. The 71º head angle has been maintained to offer sufficient agility when conditions demand it.

For those who consider the BH GravelX Carbon as an adventure companion, whether for weekends or trips, the frame has different mounts for all kinds of accessories, including pannier racks or mudguards.

The BH GravelX Carbon is entering its second season, and its range consists of four models. In addition to the BH Unique frame customization program, available on the premium model, the range features new designs more in line with the practice.

In addition, three aluminum models (one of which is equipped for bikepacking) complete the BH GravelX Carbon range to facilitate access to discovering this discipline.

The BH GravelX Carbon range starts at €2,799.90, and all models are available in 5 basic colors.

The aluminum models, meanwhile, come in 3 finishes each, and are available from €1,599.90.
