New: Syncros launches new high-performance lights

At night, seeing and being seen, and more broadly, issues related to cyclist visibility, present challenges for bicycle light manufacturers. Syncros is launching the Nanaimo and Campbell products, which are packed with features to allow you to continue cycling safely in low light conditions and in broad daylight when the goal is to be seen.

For 2022, Syncros has developed an entirely new range of lights with multiple objectives: integration, efficiency, and battery life.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with the brand’s integrated cockpits (Creston, Fraser, and Hixon), the Nanaimo light can be mounted in various ways. The light can obviously be mounted on another handlebar, from another brand. Syncros engineers focused on designing a light with optimal power retention and run time.

Because, too often, lights dim once they start to overheat. Then there are the multiple modes available to the rider, especially the light-sensitive mode which automatically adapts to ambient light to extend battery life and provide maximum visibility to other road users.

Light Sensitivity

One of the modes, light-sensitive, detects ambient light conditions to automatically switch from a daytime flashing mode to a nighttime pulse mode. While both contribute to cyclist visibility to traffic at any time of day, the night mode primarily allows the cyclist to see where they are going.

Power Retention

Many competitors claim light output, but in reality, the biggest problem with lights is overheating and the resulting drop in performance. On the contrary, Syncros has focused on cooling the LEDs and providing a constant current for the highest lighting levels. The 1200 lumen mode will remain in the 1200 lumen range and will not drop after a few minutes.

Beam Pattern

Light distribution on the trails was a priority. One LED is oriented to illuminate the trail in front of you and offer you the longest possible view, while the other LED has a wider but more diffuse pattern to illuminate nearby. This combination was designed to provide the best visibility in undergrowth.

USB Charging

Ultra-fast and efficient charging with USB technology.

Power Modes From maximum to minimum: constant high, medium, low, flashing, and light-sensitive modes.
