Key points

  • THM Carbon

The iconic and most versatile model in Lapierre’s road range evolves with a new carbon construction and benefits from new THM carbon fibers for an ultra-light frame (less than 750 g).

  • Aerodynamics

A more aerodynamic design (gain of more than 5% compared to the old Xelius SL2) thanks to KammTail tubes and full cable/housing integration.

  • Carbon construction

2 different constructions (Stiff and Ultra, Light) between sizes XS/S and M/L/XL for Team frame kits (only).

  • A more versatile frame

A frame and fork set compatible with 700×32 tire widths for all races and surfaces. A 27.2 mm diameter round seatpost to increase frame flex and comfort.

  • A new, more aggressive geometry with a constant and more forward-projected seat angle.

In detail

The new Xelius SL 8.0 and 9.0 also benefit from the new Lapierre carbon wheels.

The new 38 mm rim depth features a new wider profile (21 mm internal width) and a U-shape design that improves both high-speed stability and air penetration for aero gains, more responsiveness, and reactivity.

The 9.0 version is also equipped with a new ultra-light carbon handlebar/stem combo with a design that improves grip for sprints and stability and control on descents.
