After a blank year in 2020 due to the health crisis, and a postponement in 2021, organizers, volunteers, and participants were all delighted to finally be able to meet under the Provençal sun. Starting at 8:30 AM, the women kicked off the event, followed by the men 30 minutes later.
The Routes
This year, two routes were offered. The flagship event: a timed 111 km route, including a passage through Les Baux de Provence – which had not been on the route for several years – delighted the many participants who came to tackle it. The second route was a 74 km randonnée, a new addition to the Raid des Alpilles, to allow as many people as possible to participate. On the menu: sunshine and splendid landscapes, enough to feast your eyes and create wonderful memories!

The Winners
With a time of 2h49, Loïck Dussol made a thunderous arrival and won this 14th edition in a sprint, just a few seconds ahead of his competitors! In the women’s race, Olivia Aubenas won in 3h17, several minutes ahead of her rivals. A big congratulations to both of them and to all the participants!

The Cyclo’Tour Rotor Final
The Raid des Alpilles also hosted the final round of the Cyclo’Tour Rotor this Sunday, the national cyclosportive Challenge organized by Agence LVO. After 9 rounds of competition, Cédric Richard, who finished 24th today, took the title alongside Brigitte Grould in the women’s category.
Barnett Frame Draw
Following the draw, Orane Barthes won the frame offered by partner Barnett, thanks to her participation in the Cyclo’Tour Rotor.
