Specialized’s obsession is to improve every moment spent on the bike through the Body Geometry method and the resulting innovations. This determination led to Mirror technology, a 3D-printed matrix with infinitely adjustable density in a way impossible with foam. Mirror saddles offer the best combination of Performance/Comfort of any saddle ever created by Specialized, all validated by science.

How Mirror Technology Works

Unlike traditional single-density foam, Mirror technology allows for infinite density adjustment with a single material. Using Body Geometry methodology and Retül data, the 3D-printed matrix is adjusted to support the ischial tuberosities over a larger surface area, creating a hammock effect that allows the saddle to support your weight, not the tissue around your sit bones.

The S-Works Romin EVO with Mirror

Protecting blood flow and relieving pressure in aggressive, aerodynamic positions associated with intense efforts, the Romin EVO with Mirror Technology reduces pressure by up to 26% compared to traditional foam saddles. It uses a 3D-printed matrix with no less than 22,200 struts and 10,700 nodes, as well as a unique concave carbon shell to provide the thickest Mirror padding.
