The Jumbo-Visma team riders preferred the Caledonia-5 for the difficult conditions of Paris-Roubaix 2021.
Wout van Aert was the big favorite for the 2021 edition of Paris-Roubaix. The Belgian champion had to settle for 7th place.
Wout van Aert benefited from a special paint job on his Cervélo Caledonia-5.

This is the only race of the season where riders choose the Caledonia-5 for logical comfort reasons, but also for its extreme versatility, especially in terms of possible tire size (up to 34 mm). The Caledonia-5 is indeed the “modern” road bike in the Cervélo range, the one cyclists choose for rides that often push the bike computer well beyond three digits, on roads that are not always smooth and clean.

The bike maintains very sporty lines.
A traditional cockpit with FSA K-Force handlebars and stem was chosen.
The Dura-Ace C60 tubular wheels are stiff and aerodynamic.
The rear part of the Caledonia-5 promotes vibration absorption.
The Jumbo-Visma team riders had 30 mm Dugast tubulars. Mike Theunissen chose to keep a 53 and 39 tooth double chainring on his Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 power meter crankset.
