After drawing no fewer than 360 participants across all of its rounds, the first edition of the Gravel’Tour Cannondale ended on a high note this Saturday, September 25, at the Cyclosportive celebrating 100 years of La Vache qui Rit, in Lons-le-Saunier.

A course that perfectly matches the spirit of the discipline
For this final round of the Challenge, more than 170 riders set off from 9 a.m. on a 59.5 km route with 1310 m of elevation gain. On the menu: a course following the Voie Verte PLM (a former railway line operated by the PLM company (Paris, Lyon, Méditerranée) until the middle of the 20th century), heading toward the Belvédère des Roches, which offers a stunning view over the cirque de Baume-les-Messieurs. Quite a feast for the eyes!
Results of the 6th round – Cyclosportive La Vache Qui Rit
This 6th round of the Gravel’Tour Cannondale took place during the Cyclosportive celebrating the centenary of La Vache qui Rit. With a time of 01:49:07, Remi Aubert and Pierre Idjouadiene, both from team look Gravel, finished hand in hand. Among the women, Marion Mauras took the win in 2:25:27, less than a minute ahead of her rivals.

Gravel’Tour Cannondale overall standings
At the end of this final, the big winners of this first edition of the Gravel’Tour Cannondale are Régis Clauss and Apolline Guillemin! They finished with 1837 and 1148 points respectively, after beating some formidable opponents. Let’s also congratulate Jean-Luc Brottes, leader in the early rounds, who finishes second after taking part in every stage of the Challenge! Finally, a big well done to all the participants in this Gravel’Tour Cannondale.

Winner of the Vélo Tour Gravel Topstone Carbon 5
The Topstone Carbon 5, donated by Cannondale, was won by Philippe Vernay in the prize draw held today during the final awards ceremony. This fan of the Cannondale brand went home very happy. He will, however, have to wait a few days before collecting his Topstone at the Roc D’Azur in early October.
