Iconic European Destinations

The 2021 Haute Route circuit brought amateur cyclists to Crans-Montana (Switzerland), the Pyrenees, the French Alps, the Dolomites, before a final race at Ventoux (France), from October 1st to 3rd.

In 2022, the circuit will offer the opportunity to discover Europe’s most beautiful cycling destinations with 5 races:

– Haute Route Alpe d’Huez, June 24-26 (3 days)
– Haute Route Pyrenees, July 5-9 (5 days)
– Haute Route Alps, August 21-27 (7 days)
– Haute Route Dolomites, August 30 – September 3 (5 days)
– Haute Route Davos, September 23-25 (3 days)

A Compact format, offering less elevation gain and fewer kilometers than the original format, will be available for the Haute Route Alpe d’Huez, so that every rider can take on the challenge and experience the Haute Route.

“We are thrilled to unveil our new 2022 calendar, which brings together a great combination of legendary climbs and undiscovered gems,” explains Julie Royer, General Manager of Haute Route Group and Director of Cycling at The IRONMAN Group. “Haute Route Davos is the lovely surprise of this 2022 calendar. This event will take us to the heart of the Swiss Alps where we will have the opportunity to explore roads little known to the general public. With easy logistics and fantastic local support, there is no doubt that this event will be a highlight of the year. Our 2022 calendar celebrates iconic European destinations and offers the best of what cycling in Europe has to offer. But rest assured that we fully intend to continue our international momentum in 2023, bringing together riders from around the world in spectacular and unexpected cycling destinations.”

Registrations Open Early October

Registrations will open in early October with different phases. The first, on October 7th, will be reserved for members of the Haute Route community. From October 14th, the general public will also be able to register.

Highly popular since 2019, 100 Infinity Passes will again be available for the 2022 season. Their purchasers will thus be able to register for as many Haute Route races as they wish at no additional cost.
