The time trial events use the same course, regardless of category. It is a 22.4-kilometer long, completely flat route. The start is in the Muse district while the finish is located at Piazza delle Donne Lavoratrici. While the course mainly uses long straight lines, a few roundabouts will need to be negotiated, as well as some right-angle turns.

As for the road races, they all use a 13.2 km urban circuit with an elevation gain of 250 m. The number of laps to complete obviously varies by category, from 5 laps for Junior women to 10 laps for U23 men. Elite men will only do 8 laps of the circuit. But before that, they will have completed a 73 km road course in the Monte Bondone region, bringing the total race distance to 179 km.

In terms of difficulties, while the first two kilometers are essentially flat, the main difficulty of the circuit is the climb of Povo (3.6 km at 4.7%). The descent that follows brings the riders to Piazza Vicenza, then to the last 4 completely flat kilometers in the city center streets to the finish line.

While the first day concerned the Junior time trial events, Thursday will see the other categories (U23 women and men, Elite women and men) compete in the same race format.
Friday will host the road race for Junior men and women as well as U23 women.
Elite women and U23 men will battle it out on Saturday, while Elite men will compete for victory in Sunday’s race.
Elite races (time trial and road races) will be broadcast live on Eurosport 1, and live and in full on the Eurosport app. The U23 men’s road race will be broadcast live and in full on the Eurosport app and Eurosport.fr.
