With its new Scultura V Team, which already equips the professional riders of the Bahrain Victorious team, Merida has sought to go even further in the perpetual quest for improvements in weight, comfort, and aerodynamics.

This 5th opus in the Scultura line has thus sought to save a few grams on one side (4% weight saved with the top-of-the-range CF5 carbon fiber frame, i.e., 822 g on the scale in size M), about 10 watts on the other in aero drag compared to the old version, without forgetting to preserve the user’s musculature with a vertical seat tube stiffness that goes from 111 N/mm to less than 80 N/mm and a seat tube shortened by 40 mm, thus allowing greater seatpost flex.

This is an all-rounder bike, both high-performance in the high mountains while ensuring the best possible performance on the flats. It is therefore versatility that prevailed in the brand’s research, rather than offering a bike made for climbing on one side and another ready to go as fast as possible at the end of a sprint.

While this bike has already proven itself at the UCI World Tour level, the desired versatility has also allowed access to all types of users, even if they are not capable of developing the power of the Bahrain Victorious team riders.
These very high-level cyclists have already carried the Scultura V Team to the top of the rankings, as evidenced by the victories of Mark Padun in the Dauphiné, Dylan Teuns in the Tour, and Damiano Caruso in the Vuelta.
