With high-level athletes at the start of the race (three former Étape du Tour winners among the men: Tao Quemere, Loic Herbreteau, and Cédrick Dubois, and elite female riders), the two Komoot courses: 100 km/2200 m D+ and 170 km/3600 m D+, offered an ideal playground for a great battle among the contenders for victory.

The magnificent landscapes of Aveyron, the beautiful trails and rustic roads, the elevation gain, the timed sections (two for the 100 km, four for the 170 km), and the heat made this race day even more epic.

Notably, among the women, Nathalie Baillon won the 170 km race just two days after completing the road Tour du Mont Blanc in 15 hours.
