The Tour de France is the most watched annual sporting event in the world. Zwift and A.S.O.’s wish is to elevate the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift to the same rank, offering teams and riders the opportunity to showcase their talent on the world stage.
“This is an incredibly important announcement for us,” explains Eric Min, CEO and Co-founder of Zwift. “We are looking to strengthen our involvement in women’s cycling and truly contribute to the growth and development of the sport. Together, we can introduce women’s cycling to a wider audience and inspire new generations of female cyclists for years to come.”

This four-year partnership will spearhead Zwift’s overall strategy to develop women’s cycling and build a strong foundation, relying on a race that aims to establish itself as the highlight of the UCI Women’s World Tour cycling calendar.
By tackling the most challenging courses and most iconic climbs in France, the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will build a legacy that, year after year, will inspire the next generation of cyclists to demonstrate the camaraderie, strategy, and grit essential to wear the iconic yellow jersey.
ASO and Zwift already have a shared history. Last July, they joined forces to successfully organize the first virtual Tour de France. A race that allowed the world’s greatest male and female cyclists to compete against each other. The event was broadcast in over 130 countries, with equal airtime for both categories.

Yann le Moënner, General Director of Amaury Sport Organisation: “We are particularly delighted to launch this new women’s race alongside a partner like Zwift, which has considerably developed the practice of cycling all over the world thanks to its connected platform. Together, last year we built a Virtual Tour de France that proved to be a huge success. Our respective teams have learned to work together and aim for the same goal: to develop women’s cycling by providing the discipline with an now unmissable event,
the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.”
Anna van der Breggen, professional cyclist for Team SD Worx: “This is a big moment for professional women’s cycling. The Tour de France is the most famous race in cycling. It’s a real dream for many members of the women’s peloton to participate in such a race. I am convinced that the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will help us further develop our sport by giving us a media opportunity to introduce the excitement of women’s cycling to
new audiences.”
