The presentation took place this morning at the Zarzuela Hippodrome, near Madrid. In addition to the four distinctive jerseys, five Santini kits dedicated to key stages of this edition were unveiled, as well as the two jerseys that the champions of the women’s race CERATIZIT Challenge by La Vuelta will wear.

“This is a partnership celebrating its fifth anniversary, and it makes us particularly proud,” explained Paola Santini, Marketing Manager of Santini Cycling Wear, “because it confirms our commitment to professional cycling and its great champions.”

The official jerseys for the 2021 edition are made in Santini’s factory in Bergamo (Italy), using recycled fabrics: Ecofabric RECY by Corno, an ecological fabric produced with recycled yarns from recovered used materials, and Native – Ecoknit by Sitip, also made from recycled fibers and yarns and without the use of polluting chemicals, to reduce the consumption of natural resources and dependence on non-renewable energies.

The leaders’ jerseys are: La Roja (the red jersey) sponsored by Carrefour, worn by the leader of the general classification; the green jersey sponsored by Škoda, worn by the leader of the points classification; the white ‘Feníe Energía’ jersey for the best young rider classification; and the polka dot jersey sponsored by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, which will crown the best climber. The champions of the 7th edition of the CERATIZIT Challenge by La Vuelta will also wear Santini jerseys.

The General Director of La Vuelta, Javier Guillén, celebrated “five years of wonderful collaboration.” He also added that “the jerseys are the distinctive sign of all stage cycling races, and for La Vuelta, it is a source of pride and joy to be sponsored and supported by Santini, one of the most powerful and prestigious brands in the specialized textile sector.”

Replicas of the distinctive jerseys are available for purchase on the official Santini website (www.santinicycling.com), as well as on the official La Vuelta store, Ciclos Cabello (www.cicloscabello.com) and in specialized cycling stores worldwide.
