The “muscle” Grail CF has already achieved iconic status on the Gravel scene, and the Grail:ON inherits the features that made it popular: the innovative comfort concept, including the revolutionary Double Decker cockpit, the flexible VCLS 2.0 seatpost, a lightweight frame, and high-volume tires. But in addition, the Grail:ON is lightweight, under 16 kg, and offers frame sizes from 2XS to 2XL. And it features the same dynamic and fluid lines, awarded the Red Dot Design Award. At first glance, the Grail:ON’s “gravel” credo is evident.

But the Grail:ON is much more than a motorized Grail. It’s a bike designed from a blank slate to meet the demands of e-gravel, with revised geometry, specific “gravel” components, and a series of unique features. First, an extended wheelbase and wider, 50 mm tires, offering the extra stability needed when the motor delivers full power on rough terrain. Next, a more “relaxed” position that improves comfort. And all Grail:ONs are equipped with e-gravel wheels from the DT Swiss HG range and single chainring drivetrains.

In terms of assistance, the Grail:ON is built around the fourth generation Bosch motor, the Performance Line CX Gen4, a powerful and torquey motor originally developed for e-MTBs. With four levels of assistance available (Eco, Tour, Sport, and Turbo), the rider can choose between light assistance, ideal for long distances, and a real boost on the steepest climbs. The motor offers an enormous torque of 85 Nm and up to 340% assistance to pedaling power. The motor’s assistance is progressive on the highest settings, meaning the harder you pedal, the more assistance the motor provides.

The Grail:ON is available on the website: https://www.canyon.com/fr-fr . The range will initially consist of four models, starting with the Grail:ON CF 7 (4999 euros) also available in a WMN version with specific contact points for women.

The mid-range will be represented by the Grail:ON CF 8 (5299 euros) and at the top of the range, we will find the Grail:ON CF 8 eTap (5999 euros) with its SRAM Force AXS eTap electronic drivetrain, carbon wheels, and a weight of only 15.9 kg in size M.
