Castelli celebrates 90 years of the pink jersey with a special collection

With less than two weeks until the Giro d’Italia kicks off in Turin, you can get your gear and be ready to celebrate one of Italy’s most important sporting events. Castelli offers a special collection for the occasion.

The wearer of the iconic Maglia Rosa (pink jersey) truly enters cycling history, and Castelli offers a model with the names of former winners around the jersey stripes, like on the Trofeo Infinito. A true tribute to the 90 years of the pink jersey, distinguished by a golden logo on the upper back to accompany the golden zipper pull and the Trofeo symbols on the sleeves.

This model is available in white (best young rider), cyclamen (points classification), blue (mountains), and black, in homage to the Maglia Nera, which distinguished the last rider in the general classification in the 1950s.

Montalcino, Zoncolan, or Cortina?

The Giro route includes short and punchy stages, gravel roads, two individual time trials, a mountainous second half of the race that includes a summit finish on Monte Zoncolan, and the queen stage in Cortina d’Ampezzo with over 5000 meters of elevation gain. The Castelli collection also includes jerseys dedicated to these mythical places in cycling history.
