New MET Manta Mips Helmet

MET presents the new MET Manta Mips helmet. Aerodynamics, comfort, ventilation, enhanced Mips safety system: a weight of 250 g in size M, six available colors and a retail price of €250 for this new model, which equips the riders of the UAE Team Emirates formation this season.

The new MET Manta Mips helmet exudes sportiness in every detail, making it a pure expression of MET’s contemporary aesthetics and design. Its intense and suggestive shapes are developed around the fundamental requirements of professional cyclists: safety, aerodynamics, comfort and style. Inspired by its predecessor, it is even more efficient and cutting-edge.

AERODYNAMICS

The MET Manta Mips is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to its lowered, tube-shaped rear profile, which was developed after specific tests in the NEWTON laboratory wind tunnel in Milan.

COMFORT

Beyond its technical prowess, the MET Manta Mips is also exceptionally comfortable. Its 360° belt ensures no pressure points on the skull, and its internal shape is inspired by the multi-award-winning MET Trenta 3K Carbon.

VENTILATION

Met designed the internal shape of the helmet to channel air. The signature MET NACA vent works in synergy with specially positioned exhaust vents to ensure a constant airflow within the helmet without creating drag.

FIDLOCK® MAGNETIC BUCKLE

The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes closing the helmet simpler and easier. This effectively reduces transition times in triathlon.

SAFETY

At MET, rider safety is taken seriously: for each production run, a batch of helmets is rigorously tested in the in-house laboratory. To further increase safety, the new MET Manta uses the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, allowing the helmet to slide relative to the head in the event of an impact, thereby redirecting potentially harmful rotational forces.

SUNGLASS PORTS

The new MET Manta Mips has two dedicated ports for securely storing sunglasses.
