WinSleek, Groupama-FDJ team’s bike care products partner

WinSleek by Afuludine becomes the official supplier of maintenance products for the Groupama-FDJ team this season. The French brand, based in Dôle, will combine its expertise with that of the World Tour team, with the aim of optimizing mechanics, friction reduction, and equipment maintenance to always be more efficient.

The Groupama-FDJ Cycling Team is partnering with the eco-responsible French brand WinSleek by AFUludine, to jointly develop an innovative range of bicycle maintenance products that are more respectful of the user and the environment, serving very high-level performance. A joint research and development project will be conducted on the issue of optimizing the friction of mechanical parts. For its 2021 season, the Performance Hub of the Groupama-FDJ Cycling Team is beginning a unique collaboration with the start-up WinSleek by AFUludine, located in Dole, Franche-Comté.

The French company, an expert in eco-responsible and high-performance bike maintenance solutions, has been equipping the WorldTour team’s mechanics since January. Far beyond material provision, a whole Research and Development project around lubrication, aimed at optimizing equipment performance, has emerged, led by the Groupama-FDJ and WinSleek engineering teams. A first in this key performance sector.

Three common research and development areas:
– Technical objective: Reduce mechanical friction to improve performance.
– Health objective: Develop washing and greasing products that respect the health of the technical assistants who use them daily.
– Ecological objective: Offer eco-responsible and biodegradable products that are more respectful of the environment.

For the 2021 season, the Groupama-FDJ Cycling Team received a complete supply of assembly and maintenance products, including degreasers, cleaners, lubricants, greases, finishes, and cleaning tools. The brand will also equip technical assistants with aprons and work pants.
