New CeramicSpeed bottom bracket and derailleur cage packs

Go full speed while saving watts with the oversized derailleur pulley system (OSPW Systems), which improves drivetrain efficiency by eliminating the sharp chain articulation found in 11-tooth derailleur pulley systems. The CeramicSpeed OSPW systems were developed in close collaboration with a large number of World Tour teams and several professional triathlete teams. A rigorous road-testing program was carried out, backed by the work of Friction Facts, a laboratory dedicated to drivetrain efficiency. The tests show that OSPW systems generate 30 to 60% less friction than conventional derailleur pulley systems.

CeramicSpeed OSPW systems are recommended for use on all road and triathlon bikes and can also be used on cyclo-cross bikes.

The oversized aluminum derailleur pulleys, fitted with low-friction CeramicSpeed bearings, are housed in a lightweight polyamide and carbon fiber cage finished with titanium bolts.

3D-Printed hollow titanium derailleur pulleys

Developed in collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute, the 3D hollow titanium derailleur pulleys represent a major technological innovation. The 3D process adds thin sequences of titanium dust, laser-heated and printed in layers until the final product takes shape. The result is a lightweight titanium derailleur pulley assembled with high-performance coated CeramicSpeed bearings.

The 3D hollow derailleur pulleys are 10% lighter and last three times longer than CeramicSpeed aluminum derailleur pulleys. They are also 25% lighter than standard titanium derailleur pulleys.

The bottom bracket is a key component of your bike, channeling your pedaling energy to your drivetrain. Minimal friction and tolerance of high loads are the essential factors that determine how exceptional a bottom bracket is. By incorporating lightweight aluminum cups, CeramicSpeed bottom brackets increase stiffness and transmission and deliver the best power transfer.

All CeramicSpeed bottom brackets are fitted with bearings from the brand, featuring unique CeramicSpeed balls known for their exceptional impact resistance, roundness, smoothness and hardness.

These bottom brackets are also available with CeramicSpeed Coated bearings. This unique coating provides a further reduction in friction while increasing bearing life. Coated bearings are more resistant to wear and are virtually immune to the corrosive effects of contaminants such as water or dirt.

With more than 150 bottom bracket variants on the market, CeramicSpeed bottom brackets fit almost all available standards. Several bike manufacturers use CeramicSpeed bottom brackets to improve their frames.
