Rediscover the great outdoors, conviviality, and share the passion for mountain biking again
Looking far ahead to anticipate obstacles is one of the basics of riding for mountain bike enthusiasts. The Roc d’Azur has also made it one of its foundations. Despite the postponement of the 37th edition last fall, the Roc d’Azur immediately looked to 2021. Thanks to the loyalty of its partners, volunteers, and all those who work for the success of the event, mountain bike enthusiasts are expected in Fréjus from October 6 to 10. They will reconnect with the beauty of the landscapes of the Massif des Maures and mythical Roc d’Azur locations such as the Col du Bougnon and its exceptional atmosphere, the Fournel, or the Sentier des Douaniers and its panoramic view of the Mediterranean.
Participants will be able to extend the summer and rediscover the extraordinary sensations offered by the routes traced around Fréjus. They will once again enjoy the cocktail that makes the Roc d’Azur an unmissable event. A cocktail composed of sun, wide-open spaces, and of course, sport and conviviality.
Events for all levels, all ages, and all practices
With more than 30 events on the program, divided into 6 categories (races, rides, gravel, electric, triathlon, children), the Roc d’Azur offers everyone the opportunity to live a unique experience whatever their age, level or practice: alone, with friends or family. Tri Roc (Thursday), Canyon Roc Marathon (84.5 km, Friday), Roc Ruelles de Fréjus (Friday), Gravel Roc (65.4 km, Saturday), Kid Roc (from 2 to 14 years old, Saturday), Alltricks.com Rando Roc Noire and Rando Roc Noire Électrique (45.4 km, Saturday), are some examples of the wide range offered by the Roc d’Azur. The flagship event of the week, the Roc d’Azur race (Sunday), will benefit from an optimized system to improve the participant experience. With a first start at 8:30 am and more time between the different waves (25 minutes instead of 15 minutes), competitors will fully enjoy a smoother course.
To remember:
- The Roc d’Azur will take place from October 6 to 10, 2021, to reunite around the passion for mountain biking
- A full refund in case of cancellation of the event due to the Covid-19 epidemic
- More than 30 events on the program to offer everyone a unique experience
