Perseverance, gratitude, and unwavering confidence: these are Rotor’s mottos for developing new concepts to improve cycling experiences worldwide. Rotor’s DNA is based on the principle of improving the performance of pro and amateur cyclists by developing innovative drivetrains. So when the brand’s teams challenged themselves to develop the new Aldhu Carbon crankset, all the experiences and efforts of professional cyclists and engineers were mobilized to design the most efficient road crankset.
This crankset is a distillation of the engineers’ expertise in terms of lightness and rigidity. Carbon combined with the brand’s proprietary technologies embodies the best Rotor crankset ever created.
An Invention
It is at the intersection of innovation and engineering that you will find Rotor. The brand is motivated to develop original solutions to improve your cycling experiences. Rotor teams unleash their creativity to develop new components that will help you discover new ways to pedal. Drawing inspiration from what is possible through science, engineering, and the goals of our time.
A Manufacturing Process
Rotor manufactures the products you mount on your precious bikes from start to finish. You help the brand forge its main objective: to design components that will meet your desires.
Riders
What better than a cyclist to understand and equip a cyclist? Like its customers, Rotor rides in all cycling disciplines. Your passion strengthens Rotor’s determination to improve cycling every day.
Light, modular, and carbon! These are the premises for the development of the new Aldhu Carbon cranks. Users have been asking for them for some time, and Rotor has now met the challenge with a single objective: to improve all aspects of what the brand has produced since its beginnings. After more than 4 years of development with a new material in hand, this dream has finally come true. The Aldhu Carbon cranks are revolutionizing Rotor’s history.
As we all know, the arrival of disc brakes on road frames has significantly increased bike weight. Rotor’s goal was to reduce weight without losing crank rigidity. The result? An improved lightness of 100 g compared to the Aldhu aluminum cranks for a total weight of 523.5 g (172.5mm cranks & 50-34 DM chainrings). At the same time, Rotor even improved the rigidity of these new cranks by 11% vertically and 36.1% horizontally.
Never has a crankset offered such modularity! Combine these cranks with different types of spiders, chainrings, and axles. Are you also looking for a power meter? Choose the INspider to complete your crankset.
