The Bora – Hansgrohe team riders benefit from the same equipment as at the end of 2020, as seen here at La Flèche Wallonne.

As in previous years, Specialized continues to equip Peter Sagan’s, Pascal Ackermann’s, and Wilco Kelderman’s Team Bora-Hansgrohe. The German team benefits from the same technical partnership as Deceuninck – Quick Step, primarily with an S-Works Tarmac SL7 that already appeared in the peloton from the second half of the 2020 season.

The S-Works Tarmac SL7 frame is made from Fact 12r carbon fiber.
The front end is very aerodynamic.

In terms of equipment, we find full Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupsets, with power meters and pedals from the Japanese brand, Roval wheels (CLX 50 tubular, Rapide CLX or Alpinist CLX clincher), Specialized Body Geometry saddles (Romin or Power), Specialized Aerofly II or S-Works Shallow Bend handlebars, and Specialized tires.
In this version, the Tarmac weighs between 6.8 and 7 kg ready to ride, and it is very close to the commercial version offered at €12,799.

The riders will be riding with the new S-Works Ares shoes. Other partners include Wahoo bike computers, Sportful apparel, 100% eyewear, and High5 energy products.

The Di2 junction box is located at the seatpost.
On the Tarmac, integration is particularly successful.

It is also highly probable that the iconic Peter Sagan will be offered a custom-colored SL7 during the year.

The Tarmac SL7 is a versatile frame; it will be used in most races on the calendar.
