In 2021, Wilier and the Astana-Premier Tech team are continuing their technical cycling partnership. The riders will notably be on the new Wilier Filante SLR bike, presented last fall by the Italian brand. In 2021, the Astana-Premier Tech team riders will benefit from the new Wilier Filante SLR, presented last fall in the Italian bicycle manufacturer’s range. The Astana-Premier Tech Wilier Filante SLR shown here is equipped with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 disc brake groupset. Note that the rear derailleur features an oversized CeramicSpeed derailleur cage.
The riders will be able to count on Corima MCC DX 47mm and MCC DX 32mm wheels, paired with Vittoria Corsa tubulars. Prologo is the Kazakh team’s saddle partner, and Tacx provides technical support for bottle cages.
The Wilier Filante SLR aims to achieve the right combination of aerodynamics and lightness, with the goal of significantly improving the ratio between torsional stiffness and weight. It uses the same materials as the aero Wilier 0 SLR. The Wilier Filante SLR integrates the in-house Filante monocoque carbon handlebar and the Wilier aero seatpost. And the Nevers-based company Look remains the pedal supplier for the Astana-Premier Tech team, with Kéo 2 Blade Carbon Ceramic pedals shown here.
