In 2021, Team Qhubeka Assos continues its cycling partnership with BMC. The riders of the South African team will notably benefit from this Teammachine SLR01 model, equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 disc brakes and a Rotor Aldhu crankset. The bike is of course equipped with the BMC ICS Carbon integrated cockpit (handlebar/stem), a BMC Teammachine 01 Premium Carbon D-Shape seatpost and integrated Aerococe bottle cages. For wheels, Enve gives way to Hunt, with Hunt 48 Limitless Aero Disc wheels (1618 g per pair, for a price of €1,598 with CeramicSpeed bearings), paired with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Selle Italia remains the team’s technical partner for saddles. This will give fans of pro gear an idea of the equipment that the WorldTour team’s riders will be able to rely on this season, while waiting for more details, such as the weight of this beautiful machine as built.
