During their 2021 preseason training camp in Altea, Spain, the Bingoal-WB Cycling Team unveiled its new bicycle partner. The Belgian team, which had previously ridden Ridley bikes, is welcoming De Rosa for the upcoming season. Already a partner of Cofidis, the Italian company is adding a second collaboration in the professional peloton this year. Here’s a closer look at the 2021 De Rosa Protos that will be ridden by the riders of the UCI Pro Team.
The Bingoal-WB riders’ De Rosa Protos is equipped here with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain with disc brakes and a Rotor 2INPower crankset. The FFWD F6R FCC wheels (sold for €1,399 per pair on the Dutch company’s website) are paired with Schwalbe Pro One tires.
The Bingoal-WB team’s De Rosa Protos features an FSA handlebar/stem set, including an FSA SL-K Compact Carbon handlebar priced at €283 and an FSA OS-99 CSI stem priced at €190. Elite provides the bottle cages with a pair of Cannibal XC models. The Selle Italia saddle and the De Rosa Protos Carbon seatpost round out the list of components… with a distinctive touch provided by the colorful KMC DLC11 chain and its black-and-yellow accents that echo the team’s jersey.
